The other day, while scrolling down the list of Apple News top stories on my iPhone, I nearly threw my phone in the garbage can. In my 71 years, I can’t remember reading so many horribly negative, depressing headlines in one small space.
As a recent graduate of University of Utah’s Gerontology Interdisciplinary Program, I recently completed my master’s project. I had hoped to find a way to cover what to expect with dementia and how to plan for future care in a way that would make it more accessible to people facing one of the greatest challenges that life can offer.
